This past Saturday I had the opportunity to go to the Jefferson High School Crab Feed. This event benefits Jefferson High School’s Athletic Program, and wow what a turn-out! I would say they were over two hundred people who attended and the energy amongst the crowd was incredible. There was dancing by the students and just a real positive buzz. Reyna Mefau who is the Jefferson Boosters President was as gracious as ever making people feel right at home. As the Governor and Legislature are making cuts to school funding. These events are extremely important in making sure that our youth are able to participate in athletics. To Reyna and the Jefferson Booster kudos to a job well done! One last note the Jefferson JV Football team went 10-0! Congrats and I am looking forward to next year.
